66: AI for Business: Smarter Marketing and Strategy Workflows in 2025 (Part 5)
This is the final episode of our 5-part AI series, and I’m bringing it all home with the REAL framework. My go-to system for using ChatGPT as a true business partner.
REAL stands for Recognize, Express, Assign, and Lead, and it’s the workflow that’s helped me finally stop treating AI like a tool and start using it like a teammate. If you’ve ever felt like AI was generic, clunky, or not quite helpful, this system will change that.
We’ll cover:
How to organize your prompts without overwhelm
Why talking to ChatGPT is sometimes better than typing
How CEOs and teams are really using AI in 2025 (based on real data)
The simple habit that keeps your AI brain running smoothly
This episode will help you feel more confident, clear, and strategic about how AI fits into your work, and how to make it a part of your business that truly supports you.
What You’ll Learn in This Episode:
[00:00] Why your prompts matter more than your tools
[03:15] Why I created my own REAL framework for using ChatGPT
[05:07] The 4 parts of the REAL framework
[09:33] The power of talking to ChatGPT (not just typing)
[12:04] How CEOs are really using AI in 2025
[13:56] How I organize my prompts so I don’t feel scattered
[17:29] A quick recap of the whole series
Key Takeaways:
ChatGPT works best when you give it clear context, specific roles, and feedback.
The REAL framework (Recognize, Express, Assign, Lead) helps turn AI into a real business partner.
Speaking your prompts out loud can be a game-changer if typing feels like a block.
Treat AI like a teammate, not a task rabbit.

S3 Ep66 Transcript: AI for Business: Smarter Marketing and Strategy Workflows in 2025 (Part 5)
00:00
AI is completely changing how we run and market our businesses and also how we show up, how we make decisions, how we lead our teams and protect our energy. That's why I created this five-part series. And in this final episode, I'm pulling it all together and showing you how to actually use ChatGBT in a way that feels clear, strategic and supportive without the overwhelm.
00:25
I'm sharing the exact framework I use to run both of my businesses with my ADHD brain that goes 100 miles a minute and some workflow tips I wish I had when I first started. This isn't about adding more to your plate, it's about making your plate lighter and helping you to work more in your zone of genius. Are you ready? Let's do it.
00:49
Welcome to Strut It, a podcast about creating bold visibility on social media with zero apologies. I'm Elizabeth Marberry, your host and Instagram marketing coach. I help small business owners get seen on Instagram and monetize their offers so they can make more money doing their sole lead work. If you're tired of spinning your wheels on Instagram and you're seeking simple, proven Instagram marketing strategies that actually work, you're in the right place.
01:18
Let's dive in.
01:28
Welcome back to the show. I'm thrilled that you've joined me for the final installment on our five part series on how to use ChatGPT and AI for real business growth. If you've been following along, you know now what ChatGPT is, how it works, what mistakes to avoid and how I use it daily and how to start prompting it like a pro using the crit framework by Jeff Woods. I taught you that last week.
01:55
If you're just tuning in and you're thinking, oh wait, I missed the other four, that's okay. You can go back and binge them anytime. But today's episode stands alone and ties it all together because today I'm sharing my personal framework, the exact system I've developed after using ChatGBT daily across two businesses with my private clients and in my own messy, beautiful, real life. It's called the real framework.
02:25
And it's how I prompt better, think clearer, create faster, and sound exactly like me every time. I've taught this inside my paid mentorships, but today I'm giving it to you, my beloved listener, because I want you to actually use AI to move your business forward. Not just save time, but grow smarter and show up bolder. Before I get into the framework, I was scrolling Facebook the other day and
02:55
Sometimes when I see articles or posts that really are resonant with me, but I don't have time to read them, I will just DM them directly to myself. So that is a productivity hack. If you see something you like, you don't have time to look at it right there, just DM it to yourself so you can come back to it later. But this was a Facebook post by Dan Martell. If you don't know Dan, he is the author of a Buy Back Your Time. And he recently...
03:23
about how the CEO of Fiverr told his team in a very explicit and straightforward email, AI is coming for your jobs. Heck, it's coming for my job too. And it was a really interesting email that the CEO of Fiverr wrote to his team, but it was actually really incredible how he essentially just faced the reality that is AI, meaning that this is coming and we get to adapt and grow.
03:53
and it's not something we can ignore anymore. And in Dan's Facebook post, he had a couple things in there that really resonated with me and I wanted to share them with you because they highlight the reason why I wanted to do this series, which is that AI is not going anywhere. In fact, we are really on the brink of next level growth with how AI is going to impact every part of our lives and
04:20
I know it's so easy to still kind of have your head in the sand about it. And that's why I've really been wanting to break down ChatGPT in this series in the most simple way possible because I don't want you to feel left behind. It's definitely not too late for you to come on board the AI train and learn how to use this tool. But in his Facebook post, Dan added a couple of things that I just thought were just so, such important reminders. He said,
04:49
The winners won't just learn AI tools. They'll fundamentally rewire how they work, create, and think. We're entering an era where one person with AI can outperform entire teams from just a year ago. This email should terrify mediocre workers, but it should excite exceptional ones. And I...
05:17
really resonated with that because as I've mentioned in the series, when you really harness the power of AI and of course I've been focusing on ChatGPT , but there's so many different AI tools. As business owners, it is just mind blowing because we no longer need these massive teams of people when we learn how to, yes, still hire the right people, but learn how to leverage AI in
05:46
how we're working and creating and thinking, right? So it's not just learning the tool, it's integrating the tool into how you are planning and creating and thinking about your business and your life. And that's really in alignment with the framework that I have discovered over the last really 12 months of using ChatGPT for my own business. Another thing that Dan said in his post is,
06:15
start creating value AI can't replicate. So stop worrying about if AI is gonna replace the mundane tasks that you may have in your role, because the truth is it's going to. But what you can focus on is creating that value, that human value that AI can't replicate. That's just a nugget of wisdom to really think about.
06:43
And I would argue that the creation of value that you are going to bring to the artificial intelligence is your human experience of stories and thoughts. The pieces that are not stored in the computer, right, they're stored in your brain. And where AI is so powerful is it can help you to
07:11
take all of that goodness that is in your mind or those like reoccurring thoughts that we have as owners, all those things that we want to do and projects and different moving pieces and really help us to organize our thoughts, to think more strategically, to be spotted on our blind spots and also to get reinforcement on what actually is working. Because so many of us are always kind of chasing the next
07:40
thing and we don't take time to really measure how far we've come. AI can help you do that too. AI can help you see how far you've come. And so the power of this tool is just you can't wrap your brain around it. there's no words to describe it. And so I just want to say thank you so much for joining me on this series. I hope you've really gotten a lot out of it. One of my Hot Reels clients posted in our community group today and she said,
08:10
OMG Elizabeth, after weeks and weeks of listening to you teach us about using chat, GBT for all of your content, et cetera, I finally dove in and was blown away by what came back to me. I'm gonna work on it before I ask more specific questions from you, but oh my God, it's brilliant. It's really helping me. Thank you for creating this training. That is what's happening inside of my programs. And this year I am dedicated to
08:37
really weaving all of my intel and information of how to be a leader and a creator and a marketer with AI and chat GBT into all of my paid programs because this is again, just a non-negotiable tool at this point. I am determined to become masterful at it and also lead you and my clients to their next level of using this tool and
09:05
I just love getting your feedback. So if you've been enjoying the podcast so far, please make sure you've rated the podcast, you've left a review. That really helps us reach more people. And I just am so grateful that you are taking this time to invest in your knowledge base. Like you are already my people. You care about this. And even if you're a little out of your comfort zone, you're just like, wait, I'm still confused or I'm not bought in all the way or whatever it is, you are here, my love, and you are.
09:31
committed to the process of learning. And that's really all you can do and thank you for doing that. Okay, so let's get into my framework. This is where everything we've covered in the series really comes together. And if you've wondered how to actually integrate ChadGBT into your workflow, not just your content, but for high stakes moment in your business, this framework is what I use every single week across, it's called the real framework. And it's about
10:00
prompting like a partner, not a robot. I really have this relationship with ChatGPT . I know that sounds really weird. It's a partner. It's a thought partner. It's a strategic partner and its capacity is truly limitless in my mind. So, real. R stands for recognize the opportunity to delegate. Okay, so let's break down the real framework. R-E-A-L. R.
10:29
stands for recognize the opportunity to delegate. E, express your thoughts, spoken or typed. A, assign a role and give context. L, lead the conversation. Okay, so I'm gonna go through all of these and break it down and then I have a really clear example for you so you can really wrap your brain around this. So R, recognize the opportunity to delegate.
10:59
It starts with this, I want you to ask yourself, how can ChatGPT help me with this? Maybe you need to write it on a post-it note and put it on your computer or wherever you work, maybe you need a big sign on your desk that says, how can AI help me do this thing? Because most people skip this step because they're not in the habit yet. But the real magic starts when you learn to pause and
11:28
think what part of this task or project could I get support on? Is it strategy, writing, organizing, planning? It sounds simple, but it's a daily habit. Whether I'm writing a talking head script for my reels, planning my launch, reviewing financials and P &Ls,
11:53
or even pitching myself to a conference to be their next keynote speaker. I stop and ask myself, can ChatGPT support this? Can ChatGPT help me with this project? And nine out of 10 times the answer is yes. Actually, I'm gonna go back. It's always like 10 out of 10. There's always something about it that Chad...
12:20
can help me with. And by the way, I'm gonna start saying chat instead of chatGBT, because it's just quicker and easier to say, okay? So that is your first step, is recognize the opportunity to delegate. Because I can almost guarantee you that there's things that you're doing out of just habit in your daily work life that AI and ChatGPT could help you automate.
12:45
And the only way you're gonna learn how to automate and save time and use it as a strategic growth partner is to start using it, getting those reps, okay? So R, recognize the opportunity. E, express your thoughts, spoken or typed. Now, whether you're neurodivergent like me or just overwhelmed, sometimes it's so much easier to talk than to type. So if
13:14
Chad Jbc only worked with typing. It would be much harder for me to use because for me personally, typing just takes me so much longer. I am obsessed with using the voice feature to just talk it out. I am a verbal processor, as you know. I'm a podcast host. I am a speaker.
13:40
I love to show up on Instagram stories and my reels and speak to you directly on camera. Speaking, using my voice is much more comfortable for me than typing it all out. When I type, I feel like I'm gonna miss things because when I speak, I can just kind of do this brain dump and it doesn't all have to be buttoned up. There's no punctuation. It is literally just all of the thoughts and ideas in my head.
14:10
And so I love it, because there's no pressure to say it perfectly. ChatGPT doesn't judge. It just listens and helps you sort it out. So I really, really recommend, if you haven't already with E, express your thoughts. Try the voice feature. There's two different ways you can use the voice feature. If you hit the little microphone button on your phone, so let's pause for a second. Make sure that, let's say you're using ChattGBT, and again,
14:40
Everything I'm teaching you would work for Google Gemini or Perplexity or whatever AI tool you're choosing to use. ChatGBT is what I use, so that's what the series is on. But just know everything I'm teaching you applies to all the different platforms. But on ChatGBT, what I recommend is that you have your desktop or your laptop that has your ChatGBT, of course, pinned so it's just accessible to you at all times. But also download the ChatGPT app.
15:09
on your phone, that is a total game changer. And when I say that I use the voice function, it's on my phone. So there's a little microphone button. If you tap that button, you can speak directly into ChatGPT . Honestly, I have no idea if there's a limit. Today I left a voice, I was speaking into it for over seven minutes and it did not cut me off. So I haven't found an edge yet in terms of when it cuts you off, but
15:39
It is a game changer so you can essentially have it transcribe your words into text and then you can send that into the chat. Or there's another voice feature on there where it will talk to you and it sounds like a person actually talking to you. And there's an example later on in this episode that I'm gonna share with you how I use that tool versus the voice recording tool in chat. So the E is express your thoughts.
16:09
spoken or typed. A, assign a role and give context. So this is how you make chat GBT sound like a strategist and not a robot. So after I brain dump, I tell chat exactly who I want it to be or how I want it to act. So I may say something like, depending on, course, whatever it is I'm working on, I might say act as a podcast marketing strategist or
16:39
act as my CFO or act as my high converting launch copywriter. Then I give it full context of what I'm working on, what the goal is, what audience I'm speaking to and what kind of voice I want it to use. So the more detail you give, the better the output. Context is so important.
17:08
And that's where it's just a game changer. If you talk to chat GBT, just like you would someone else on your team, you wouldn't assume that they know every detail of a project that they've never worked on before, right? You would have to give them all of the context and tell them why you're doing it and who it's for and what the goal is. And if you have any guidelines around the project, just like you would coach one of your team members or an assistant.
17:36
that's what you're gonna be doing here. So the A is assign a role and give context. And then lastly, L is lead the conversation. This is where you tell it what you need and you need to be very, very specific. For example, can you help me structure these ideas into a five part podcast series? Or can you turn this LinkedIn thought leadership
18:06
post into a three part talking head direct to camera reels series and make sure that there is a hook one to three clear teaching points and a solid call to action for this reel. I want my call to action to be
18:28
comment episode and I will send you the link to listen to the free training. Okay, so that's an example of the detail I go into when I'm guiding chat GPT in what I want from it. Now you don't stop after that first answer, right? From chat. This is where you collaborate. You have to ask follow up questions or give it feedback or request alternatives.
18:55
The AI is, of course, so smart and brilliant, but it needs your direction. And yes, it can make mistakes. It can make things up. So you absolutely have to use your human brain at all times, just like you would if you hired a copywriter and they gave you a first draft of a sales page. You're going to read through every word, even though that's an expert copywriter, right? Same thing. You still have to look at it.
19:22
but it really saves you time with that initial output. And then when you want to give it feedback, again, instead of taking the time to write out all of the things, what I do is I look at the output it gave me, I hit that voice feature and I just give it feedback and I brain dump. Why this is so helpful for me and I'm wondering if it will be helpful for some of you is that.
19:48
With my ADHD brain, I get so many different downloads at once coming into my brain. And sometimes I will get an idea or a piece of feedback. And then before I finish that thought, I get another download and I tell it that. And then I circle back to the other piece of feedback. It's a little bit chaotic. And so I can just speak into chat and give it all of that feedback. And it's fine if it's kind of all over the place, it can sort it.
20:18
And some of the specific feedback prompts I would give it would be something like, that's not detailed enough. Or sometimes, you know, I will, let's say I spoke in a chat a specific story that I wanted to incorporate into a script. And it wrote the script for me and the story was just like vanilla and not detailed at all. I would say, I gave you extreme, like tons of details in what I told you about the story.
20:46
I need you to pull from my actual words and really flesh out the story so it is clear and compelling and very detailed and specific. Okay, so again, you have to know what you're after and this is where mentorship can be really helpful is sometimes I think it's hard for us to see our blind spots or even what is our next right strategic move with marketing or business growth.
21:12
And that's where a coach and mentor can totally come in and help you and point you in the right direction. But yeah, make sure that you're really, really clear on the feedback because you're not just inputting data with the AI, you're collaborating with it. So to quickly review the real framework, R, recognize the opportunity to delegate. E, express your thoughts, spoken or typed. A, assign a role and give context. L,
21:42
lead the conversation. I want to share a real life example. This past week, I use this exact framework to prep for the biggest podcast interview of my career with Michael Stelzner. He is the CEO of Social Media Examiner and the host of the Social Media Marketing Podcast. Okay, I'll have to tell the story of how I manifested this.
22:08
vision in another podcast episode because I don't want this one to get too long. But just know that the stakes were high. His podcast reaches hundreds of thousands of business owners and marketers and my ideal clients. And I knew that this was a moment to show up powerfully and strategically. So here's how I used the real framework. R, recognize. I asked myself, can ChadGBT help me prepare for this interview?
22:37
And of course, the answer was yes. E, express. I opened a new chat, hit that mic button, and dumped everything in. I gave total context who mic is, what the episode would cover, what kind of audience I'd be speaking to, what I needed help with, what I was nervous about, all of those things. A, assign. I told chat to act.
23:03
as a Michael Stelzner and interview me. And I gave it the list of questions because Mike is a master at his craft. So before he interviewed me, we met the week before and did a whole pre-interview. So I knew exactly what our episode was gonna be about. And we worked out the flow of the questions. So I had that list of questions and I gave those to ChatGBT and I said, act as Mike Stelzner and interview me. L.
23:32
lead as I practiced and as I asked chat to literally like be Mike and asked me these questions, I refined my answers. Sometimes I would also ask for feedback on my answers to help me tighten them or make my storylines more clear to ensure that I had examples for all of the teaching points I was covering and of course to just remove any filler or fluff.
23:57
that I threw in there so I could really show up as my most articulate self. I really treated it like a coach, guiding me toward more confidence and clarity. So the morning of this interview, I was so nervous, I seriously thought I was gonna barf, okay? If you know me in real life, you know that anytime I do anything really, really big, I swear to God, I feel like I'm gonna barf. And I kind of joke with people where I'm like,
24:27
If you're not doing things that are making you feel sick, like you're not going big enough with your life. But I really like walk that walk because I will say yes to these insanely huge visibility opportunities with like total confidence, like, yes, I'll do it, right? And then as the day approaches, it's like that old feeling of stage fright. You know, I was a former professional dancer and it's like, no matter how much you've practiced, no matter how much you've prepped,
24:54
you have that adrenaline and you're just like, oh my gosh, I can't believe it. Like I'm about to go on stage and I have butterflies in my stomach and maybe I should like turn around and leave and quit and do something else with my life because this is way too scary. Okay, so that was definitely my energy that morning. I was just so nervous, but I also PS don't see that as a problem because I do my best work and performances when I'm nervous and when I really care about what I'm doing. So.
25:21
I don't turn that into like a huge problem. It's more just like, okay, yep, Elizabeth is doing another up level. She's gonna wanna barf. It's gonna be fine. We've got to get through this moving on. And it's just part of how I work. Let me know, send me a DM on Instagram if you're the same way so I can feel less vulnerable and sharing a story. But the morning of the interview, I went on a 45 minute walk. I live really close to this open space and I go walking every morning to
25:50
just clear my head and take care of my body, my heart, my spirit. And that morning I used the voice feature on chat that speaks to you, like where it's like a human speaking to you. And I asked her to help me run through the entire mock interview. And it was awesome. It was like a dress rehearsal and it helped me to feel more calm and focused and totally prepared for my interview.
26:20
I nailed it. It was awesome. Was it perfect? Of course not. Nothing's ever perfect, but I felt really proud of how I showed up. Mike was thrilled with the results of the interview and that's gonna be dropping in June. So I cannot wait to share that with all of you when it comes out, because there was a lot of gold in there. So that is an example of how I use the real framework in something that I was facing in my business.
26:47
And before we close out this episode, I really want to tie up this series with something the Harvard Business Review just reported, an article called, How People Are Really Using Generative AI in 2025. And they released their top 100 AI use cases. And I was so fascinated to see the results.
27:14
And guess what the number one use case is? It's not coding or content creation. It's emotional support. People are using AI not just to speed up tasks, but to feel seen, to talk things out, to process thoughts without judgment, to feel like something is listening, supporting, and helping them grow, and
27:43
I felt that. ChadGBT didn't just help me prep for the interview. This is gonna sound crazy, but it helped me regulate myself and reflect and refine what I wanted to say. And that level of support is such a game changer. It's not that AI or ChatGPT will ever replace an in-person therapist or a partner who's gonna sit down with you at the dinner table and look you in the eyes.
28:13
and listen with their whole body and spirit, right? Like that's not what this is about. It's not one or the other. You know, I think sometimes in this dialogue around AI, we get so fear-based and there's no need for that. There's plenty of room for it all. And the reality is, is there are so many humans on our planet right now that are suffering who can't access that therapist.
28:43
who don't have that supportive partner, right? And so why not use this tool to support you in living your best life? I wanna wrap up with just a few tips that will help you make ChildGBT work for you every week moving forward. Okay, let's wrap up this series with some organization and practical tips that are gonna help you with your workflow.
29:11
And these are those tips that I wish I had known when I first started using chat in my marketing and my business. Number one, stick to one chat per project. So if you're working on a launch plan, stay in that thread. Don't start a new chat or a new thread every time. That way, ChatGBT builds memory and context. So for example, if you are launching a new
29:40
product and you're working with chat to create a plan and an email sequence and landing pages and sales pages and all of that. All of that should live in one chat and you can label that chat. Okay, so stick to one chat per project. Number two, use the projects feature. So this is actually pretty new for me. I always would just sort of label my chats as I just mentioned.
30:08
to kind of keep my workflows organized, but Chat released a feature called Projects, and Projects help you organize chats by topic or workflow. So for example, with your Instagram content planning, you could have a project that's all on Instagram content planning, filming, producing, all of that, right?
30:32
And it's a total game changer for staying organized and not repeating yourself. So I want you to think about those tasks that you do every week in your business. I would imagine if you're listening to this podcast, every single week for your business, you're posting reels or creating carousels. Think about like all of the different marketing tasks you do every week for your business. You're sending emails. You are posting on Facebook. You're posting on LinkedIn. Like whatever is in your
31:01
flow as a marketer, I want you to create a project. What's cool about this is that it will just build upon itself. The more that you use that one chat, the better it gets. So I'll give you an example. I have a project feature called repurpose podcast transcripts because part of my workflow every single week is on Monday, I drop a new episode. There's that whole transcript. I take that transcript.
31:30
I turn it into an email, I turn it into a Facebook post, I turn it into a thought leadership post for LinkedIn, I turn it into talking head videos for short form talking head videos that I can post on Instagram reels or YouTube shorts or TikTok or I've been posting more videos over to LinkedIn. That was one piece of content that goes all those different directions and I have a project now so it just knows.
31:57
exactly what I need and every time I do it, I'm giving it feedback of, I don't use that word. We don't say it this way. Here's how I like to structure my emails. Again, you're giving it that coaching and that feedback. It learns and it gets better over time. So now when I plug in a podcast transcript, I can get the most incredible, compelling email out in 10 minutes that would have taken me at least an hour or two to write before. So it is a total game changer.
32:27
And that leads me into point number three, which is give it time to get to know you. The more you use it, the more it sounds like you. So don't expect magic in those first 10 minutes. Treat it like a relationship. It gets better with time. It deepens with time. And I'm so excited for you to really start leveraging this tool. So there you have it, the real framework, a simple, powerful way to collaborate with chat and your content strategy and everyday decision-making.
32:55
You don't need to be a tech genius. You just need to be willing to lead the conversation and let this tool support you like the badass CEO that you are. And if you want personalized help using AI in your marketing and you're ready to show up more consistently, more confidently and more strategically so you can drive leads and sales with your organic content.
