5 CATEGORIES OF YOUR AI THOUGHT PARTNER DOCUMENT

Category 1 — High-Level Business Overview
Who are you? What is your mission? What do you believe and what are your values? What makes your business different from others who do what you do? Think of it as your answer to: "Tell me about your business" at a networking event — but expanded. The more context AI has about your positioning and your "it factor," the more it can help you stand out in a crowded market.

Category 2 — Your Target Audience
Who are your ideal dreamboat clients? What keeps them up at 2am? What are they struggling with, afraid of, frustrated by? What transformation are they looking for? What questions are they asking themselves right now? Great marketing starts with understanding people — and if AI doesn't understand your people, it will create generic content every single time.

Category 3 — Your Offers
What do you sell? How do you make money? For each offer, include: who it's for, what problem it solves, how it's different from alternatives in the market, what the transformation is, and what objections people have before they buy. AI can't write compelling content about offers it knows nothing about — this category alone will transform the quality of every sales email, caption, and hook it creates for you.

Category 4 — Your Brand Voice
This is where most people get it wrong. A list of adjectives — "friendly, professional, authentic" — tells AI almost nothing. Instead, include actual examples: captions you've written, emails you love, podcast transcript excerpts, coaching call transcripts, blog posts. Show AI how you naturally communicate, not just how you'd describe it.

Category 5 — Your Stories
Your founder story, client success stories, the lessons you've learned, the mistakes you've made, your wins, your fails, and the moments that shaped your perspective. Stories create connection. Connection creates trust. Trust drives sales. When AI has your real stories, it can help you weave them into marketing content that feels deeply human — because it is.

S3 Ep124 Transcript - 7 Ways I Use AI to Market My Business, Save Time, and Increase Revenue (Part 4)

00:00

Today, I'm pulling back the curtain and sharing seven ways I've been using AI behind the scenes every single week to market my business, generate leads, increase sales, and save hours of work. Because I don't know about you, but when I'm learning a new tool or strategy, I don't just want to hear the theory, I wanna see how someone is actually using it inside a real business. I'm excited to break this down, let's go.

00:44

Welcome back to the show. Today we are wrapping up our four part AI series. And I'm so thrilled that you have cozied up to this one because over the last few weeks we've really talked about the biggest mistakes business owners are making with AI, how you can use AI without losing your voice. And last week I broke down the reusable AI thought partner document that has completely changed the way I use AI in business.

01:13

This week, I wanted to get really practical because at this point you're thinking, okay, Elizabeth, I get it, AI needs a lot of context. I understand all the things I need to give the AI to ensure the outputs are actually helpful for my business. But what does this actually look like in your day-to-day systems, ops, marketing, sales, content creation engines of your business? And that's such a great question.

01:38

So today I'm gonna pull back the curtain and share seven ways I'm using AI behind the scenes in my business to create better marketing, support sales, and move faster without hiring a huge team. And I want you to pay attention to the fact that I'm not spending a ton of time focusing on which specific AI tool you need to use, or that there's one perfect prompt that if you just discovered that you would have all the answers. The magic is that

02:07

When you're working with artificial intelligence, whether that's Claude, ChaiGBT, whatever is your platform of choice, you're not starting from zero, right? It has context. And before I would use it for any of these scenarios I'm about to break down, remember it understands my business. It understands my target audience, my offers, my brand voice, my stories, and the way that I think about marketing and my approach.

02:37

And that's why these workflows actually work for me. And so while I'm sharing all these examples with you, just remember that that is a foundational baseline that you need to have in place to ensure that the AI output is going to be effective for you and not just more AI slots.

03:07

And if you want my help really getting your AI set up to be a strategic thought partner in your business, I'm so excited because I'm gonna be running a live workshop this month called Build Your AI Thought Partner. And in this workshop, you're gonna learn how to train AI on your voice, expertise.

03:31

You're gonna learn how to train AI on your voice, expertise, audience, and offers by creating a reusable document that helps you create better content and market your business faster. this will truly, when you start to implement this, you will save five to 10 hours a week. It's gonna be awesome. And this is a workshop where you are going to be building this reusable marketing asset with me on Zoom.

03:56

It's gonna be epic and it's gonna be super helpful for those of us who want to implement, but we're struggling to find the time and we need to carve out time and to have a guide, a mentor in the room with you answering your questions and all of that as you're doing this is just absolutely priceless and I would love to support you in leveraging this tool.

04:20

So if you want to join the workshop, doors are open to register. You can go to ElizabethMarberry.com slash AI dash hub. That's Elizabeth Marberry, M-A-R-B-E-R-R-Y.com slash AI dash hub to register. And even if you can't make it live, you will have access to the replay. So go check that out. And of course we'll drop it down in the show notes.

04:52

So let's dive into the seven unexpected ways I use AI. So let's dive into the seven secret ways I use AI in my business. And it's not a secret anymore because I'm sharing it with you. the first way I use AI is to...

05:13

And I should say these are in no specific order.

05:18

Number one is I use AI to create speaker kits and marketing assets. So as a professional keynote speaker, I go to business conferences, marketing conferences, and people hire me to speak to entrepreneurship and social media marketing. So just this year so far, I've traveled to the Bahamas, to California, to Ireland, to London.

05:48

This August I'm traveling to Texas. In November I'm heading over to Vegas. And when you are a professional speaker, you need to have a speaker kit or a media kit. And recently I needed to really update my speaker kit. And in the past, this is absolutely something I would have handed off to my assistant. She's amazing in Canva and she would have created something really beautiful.

06:16

But I was so curious to see what would happen if I worked on it with Claude. And so instead of staring at a blank page, I gave Claude a lot of context around my business, my speaking topics, my prior speaker kits. So it had an idea of the design uh quality that I like, the design style that I like, the fonts, all of it. My credibility, of course I gave it all the...

06:43

different uh organizations that hire me and the transformation that I create when I speak. Like what's really different about hiring me as a speaker? And then I used it to uh help me to really think through and deepen the structure of my speaker kit. So, you know, what sections should be included, what the flow should be, and um different ways, like different inclusions on the page.

07:10

And we went back and forth and then Claude uh gave me and designed, I was blown away by the output. Claude gave me, I was blown away by the results. ah I received this beautiful polished three page PDF speaker kit that honestly looked so high end and editorial and I was just.

07:38

you know, this would have taken me hours and hours to do in Canva or I would have had to pay my assistant to do it. And I still, you know, the first time it gave me a PDF version, the text formatting wasn't quite right on the page. So I had to give it, I definitely had to give it some feedback, but I would say we only went back and forth three or four times to add some edits. And I was so thrilled with the outcome. So.

08:06

What you can kind of take from that is I still had to be the creative decision maker and the thought leader, but AI was my thought partner and what these tools can do now in terms of designing actual um images and graphics and media kits, and it just absolutely blew my mind. So AI dramatically sped up the process and... um

08:32

You know, it didn't replace my strategy. I gave it a lot of guidance to begin with, but it helped me to execute my strategy faster. And that's the biggest difference that people who get mediocre results from AI and people who get great results is that you still have to be the leader and AI is your thought partner. The second way I use AI is to review and improve my sales pages.

08:58

This one is huge because when you're really close to your own offer, it's hard to see what's working and what's not. If you've ever added a sales page, you know that they can be a beast. A lot of sales pages, at least in the coaching industry, they're very involved. There's lots of different sections and it can feel pretty overwhelming. And so one way that I use AI is to help me analyze.

09:23

uh my sales page versus a different uh coach's sales page that I know is highly converting for them and do some competitive analysis. I also use AI to help me analyze my page in terms of where are the redundancies? Where am I repeating myself? Where can I be more clear? um What am I not seeing? So I'll ask AI to be the challenger and that is extremely helpful.

09:53

at um really spotting me with those blind spots. So.

10:19

This has been so helpful because AI can act like a fresh set of eyes. And again, you do have to be very mindful that you are in the strategic thought leader seat because there have been recommendations that it's given me that are just bad advice, right? And this is why it's still gonna be super important that you're investing in a mentor or a coach who can help you to ensure that your strategy is super aligned before you're.

10:47

you're working with the AI, um but having those fresh eyes, because uh the AI can not only look at your copy, but it can actually, you can take a screenshot, or um you can upload an image, or you can give it a website URL if it's open to being crawled by the AI, and it can actually see your sales page. It can see your hero's image, and it can see all the different pieces.

11:15

And that has just been such a game changer for me. The third way I use AI is for competitor analysis and positioning. I use, um before I even go into this, I wanna say I don't love the word competitor because I genuinely believe there is more than enough room for all of us. We all have different voices, different perspectives, different lived experiences, different audiences, different ways of helping our people.

11:44

But from a marketing perspective, it's incredibly useful to understand the landscape you're operating in, right? So for you to understand who else is in your space, what are they known for? um What are the gaps in the market? What are the opportunities? What makes your approach different?

12:05

And I had a moment recently where someone in my space, the Instagram marketing space said something on her podcast where she said, I'm not a business coach. That's not what I do. And I had this like immediate aha moment because I thought, oh my gosh, I am a business coach, right? Like, yes, Instagram is my vehicle. Yes, I teach hooks, messaging, content strategy, reels, visibility, Instagram growth. But I'm always thinking about the business. Like how does this content impact?

12:34

revenue, how does this real help build that know like and trust factor? How does this messaging connect into my paid offer or my clients paid offers? And how do we turn all of this social media visibility into real leads and sales and opportunities? And that is one of my differentiators is there's a lot of Instagram coaches that will help you grow a following or give you some really killer hooks, but they're not really.

13:01

connecting the dots on the back end as to how all of this content you're producing is going to actually connect into your funnel. And one of my private clients actually messaged me today and she said, Elizabeth, my organic content funnel that we've been working on is working. In the last five days, I've had 47 people sign up for my masterclass and I only posted about it in one reel and one story. And so that is evidence that

13:30

the work that I do with my clients is working. And it's important for me to remember that, because I can easily go online and be like, oh my gosh, there's so many people who do what I do, but we're all different. We all have our differentiators. And you, my friend, you listening to this podcast have your own differentiator in your market. And sometimes AI can help you to see that and really analyze your niche, your messaging, your competitors, your offers, your audience.

13:59

And it's not that you're copying anyone, it's that you can better understand like, wow, this is how I can position myself more clearly. So that way I can start to attract and magnetize my ideal followers and clients. The fourth way I use AI is to repurpose my podcast into lots of different marketing content. So this podcast, of course, is one of the most important marketing assets I create every single week.

14:28

Every episode is full of my ideas, my stories, my frameworks, perspectives, teachings. You know, what I see is working on Instagram right now, what's not. And so why on earth would I let that episode just live in one place? I want this content to get as much mileage as possible. I want to get as much mileage as possible out of the work I'm already doing. So I now have a workflow where my podcast transcript can be.

14:56

fed into the AI and become multiple marketing assets. So one episode can become a weekly email newsletter, a LinkedIn thought leadership post, a Facebook post, Instagram stories, carousels, direct to camera videos, yapping direct to camera video scripts.

15:17

hooks, short form content ideas. And this has really been powerful for me because I'm not asking AI to help me figure out what I wanna post, rather I'm giving it a big marketing asset, the transcript of this episode that I've worked so hard on for all of you, and I'm feeding it into the AI so it already has the way that I speak, the way that I teach, and the different pillars that I'm wanting to teach that week, and also the goals, right? The goals for my business.

15:47

And so AI is really helping me to repurpose it. And...

15:59

And that's how one piece of the content becomes 10. And it's not because you're forcing yourself to create more, you're just working smarter and more strategically with the time and energy that you do have. And AI is really helping me to 10x my reach every week. And for busy entrepreneurs and small business owners like us, that is everything. The fifth way I use AI is to capture ideas before they disappear.

16:25

So my fellow ADHD entrepreneurs, creatives, and busy business owners are gonna appreciate this one, and that is that sometimes my best ideas do not always happen when I'm sitting nicely at my desk with a candle lit and a fresh Google Doc open. In fact, that's never happened for me. My best ideas come usually when I'm out walking in nature. So if you know me, you know that I go for a walk every day outside in nature. I'm fortunate enough to live by a really beautiful open space.

16:53

So I'll go for like a 30 minute solo walk in nature every day. Sometimes I get, you know, my best ideas when I'm driving or in the shower, right? Like I'm sure many of you listening have had that experience where you're in the shower and there's nothing to distract you and you get like the best download. I also love when I travel because I feel like just getting out of my normal day-to-day zones helps me to...

17:20

kind of expand the horizons of my brain and kind of think about what's possible. ah And so in the past, I would have had these really clear ideas and then sometimes I would lose them, right? Like if I didn't oh open my phone and open up my notes folder and then write them down or text myself or whatever.

17:42

But now I use AI to capture and organize those ideas quickly. And I specifically use the voice, uh the microphone button in ChatGPT or Claude. And I'll just hit that little microphone button and I will just talk it out. And I'm a verbal processor. um And so that has just been a game changer for me. And I can say, you know, okay, here is an idea and a download that I have. um

18:11

and then I'll just kind of brain dump it. And um then cloud or chat can help me to record it and even start to help me deepen um the thought, right? Ask me additional questions or help me to see how something I just shared connects to something else I've shared with the AI. And so the more that you do this, the more uh helpful.

18:34

it becomes. And what's really cool is that with some of these newer workflows, I've even had it create a draft inside of my email inbox. So it's waiting for me when I'm ready to review it. So one time when I was out on a walk, I had a really clear download of like a message that I wanted to share and I wanted to email my list because one of my Hot Reels clients had messaged me and she said, Elizabeth, I will never forget the time in one of our calls that you said,

19:03

that perfectionism can be a trauma response. And she said, that one line changed my life. I didn't realize how much my perfectionistic tendencies when it came to Instagram were tied to some childhood trauma that I needed to face. if you hadn't said that to me, I wouldn't have gone on this other journey. And I'm so grateful. And so because I had that reflection from her, sometimes I just create my best content in response. And so I just...

19:33

literally dumped out a full email on a walk and then I said, hey Claude, I want you to draft this email in my email inbox. um Don't send it, but just draft it. And so that way when I came back to my desk, I could go in, edit it, put it in my, I use Go High Level now for my email marketing platform and send it off to my list. So it was incredibly helpful and such a clutch way to use AI. The sixth way I use AI is for

20:03

speaking proposals, pricing. m

20:08

The sixth way I've been using AI is for speaking proposals and sometimes even pricing. And really I use it a lot to help me think through opportunities. So how should I position this speaker pitch? Is there anything I'm missing? What is the strongest angle knowing that this is their target audience?

20:31

um If it's an organization I don't know about, I use the AI to do some research on the organization and their target market because, you know, everything is marketing. Like everything when you're pitching yourself, whether that's on a podcast or whether that's on a stage or you're in a sales call with a potential client or customer, it's all about how you communicate, right? And messaging, the words that we're choosing.

20:56

For them to be effective, you have to understand the target audience. And so I would never pitch someone if I didn't really understand who they were or what their values are or who their audience is or why they would care about it. What's in it for them? And so I use AI to help with research and positioning and all of that. Sometimes I will also use it for research around pricing in terms of, let's say I'm up-leveling my pricing and

21:26

um I don't know what people are charging for keynote speaking in this niche or whatever. will use AI essentially to do some research on that. So again, I want to be clear. I don't let AI make the decisions for me. And I don't recommend that you do that either. You are the CEO, you're the thought leader. You're the person with discernment and intuition and lived experience and actual context about your business. But AI can be your strategic thought partner, right? It can help you.

21:55

pressure test those ideas and see other options and really create a pitch that you feel like is super aligned for you. The seventh way I use AI is to support my private and group coaching clients and delivery, customer onboarding and deliverables for my clients and all of that. And that is really important to me because my business model for my online coaching business.

22:22

is not about serving thousands of people at a surface level. My coaching style is I wanna serve fewer people at a much deeper level. And that's how I love to work and that's why my clients get really great results is I'm not the Instagram coach that is gonna have hundreds.

22:42

or thousands of people in a membership. Right now, as of recording this podcast, my group coaching program is capped at 20 clients because I don't want to serve more than that in that program. I want to really know you, your business, your offers, your goals, so I can really support you. For my private clients, I take no more than five private clients a year.

23:04

Same thing, I wanna be fractional CMO in your business. I want to be there with you to ensure that you're getting the best results. And that's just how I like to work. And so AI helps me to really organize information at times so I can coach my clients more effectively. Sometimes I use AI to help organize client notes or to review application responses. So for example, if you're listening to this and you're like, okay.

23:31

I would love to explore having Elizabeth be my private mentor. uh Your next step would be to apply for a complimentary Instagram breakthrough session with me. So you could uh DM me over on Instagram, apply, A-P-P-L-Y, and make sure you're already following me at Elizabeth Marbury, M-A-R-B-E-R-R-Y. Otherwise, I might not get your message, but you would DM me the keyword, apply, A-P-P-L-Y.

23:58

And my gorgeous robot assistant will send you over an application. You fill it out. It'll take you, you know, five, 10 minutes. And then you and I will connect on a call to really help you identify like what is your next best step. And if I'm the right person to support you in achieving your business goals. uh So with that, sometimes I will use projects in chat, GBT or Claude to help me organize um different clients and conversations and

24:26

That's also helpful in identifying themes or if I notice patterns in who I'm attracting, um who I wanna work with, who I don't wanna work with, all of that. And uh I also use it to support my onboarding systems. So my team and I are actively working on how do we integrate AI more intentionally into client onboarding.

24:50

um So things are just more automated and that nothing falls through the cracks because I'm dedicated to customer happiness. Like I want my people to be very, very happy with working with me. And part of that starts with a smooth onboarding process. So again, lots of different ways I am using AI. Of course, AI is not replacing my coaching or the relationships I have with my clients or my expertise.

25:19

It's supporting the delivery. It helps me to be more organized so I can be more present. And I think that's such a powerful way to think about eh AI. It's really not about removing the human. It's about freeing the human up to do the work only the human can do. And that is just really powerful. I hope that you're feeling lit up and excited about all the potential of how you can continue to

25:48

either start or continue to leverage artificial intelligence in your business. I don't think that we will be replaced by AI, but I do think that as small business owners, the businesses and creators who understand how to use AI will have a competitive advantage in the market. um

26:10

So I'm happy, you you clearly care because you've made it to the end of this episode. So you're already doing it. You're already doing the work. And I'm so honored to be your guide. And if you, let's see here. um If you've listened to the series and you're thinking, okay, I get it. I want this and I want help.

26:34

implementing AI into my marketing and sales flow, then I want to personally invite you to my live workshop, Build Your AI uh Thought Partner. This is not a workshop where you're gonna sit back and watch me talk about AI for 90 minutes. We're actually building this together. And I'm gonna walk you through exactly what information belongs in your AI thought partner document that can go with you no matter what uh AI platform you're choosing.

27:03

I'm also gonna show you how to pull it out of your brain faster because I know in the last episode I gave you lots of information about the contacts AI needs to be effective and it can feel overwhelming and I am all about how can we do this in the most simple, most aligned way. So I'm gonna help you organize it, all of the brilliance that's in your brain into a reusable document that can grow with your business.

27:30

And most importantly, I'm gonna show you how to actually use this document inside of ChatGBT or Claude. So your content, your emails, sales pages, marketing assets and ideas sound more like you, your brand voice and really attract your ideal client or customer. You can save your seat for the workshop at elizabethmarbury.com slash AI dash hub.

27:59

That's Elizabeth Marberry, M-A-R-B-E-R-R-Y.com slash A-I dash hub.

28:09

and I'll also link it down in the show notes. If this series has been helpful, I would be so grateful if you shared it with a business friend, a colleague, or another brilliant entrepreneur who's trying to figure out how to use AI without losing their voice in the process. Thank you so much for spending your time with me today, and I cannot wait to start it with you next week.
