When I do these audits, one of the number one mistakes I see in a bio is that it looks like your resume, right? Like it's all about you. Instead of positioning it as this is the kind of content I'm going to deliver and dish up to you and here's why you should follow me. Do you hear the difference there? So super, super important tweak. The third question your bio needs to answer is what should your ideal client do next?

Right? So this is your call to action or CTA. If you want them to click the link that is in your profile, you need to tell us why. So visit my website is not a sexy call to action. Okay? So you have to really think about like what's in it for me, even for free things like a freebie.

you have to sell free. So your call to action is super important in your bio. And usually our call to action points down to that link in our bio. And that really ties into your Instagram sales funnel. Like where do want us to go after we've come to your bio? So if your bio doesn't answer all three of these questions, number one, who is this account for? Number two, what kind of content or value do you share? And number three, what should they do next? I'm gonna give you my exact prompts that will help you write a high converting Instagram bio in minutes. Here's how it works. Now, step one, I want you to set up the context, okay? So I teach a prompting formula called the CRIT framework, C-R-I-T. I learned this framework from Jeff Woods. He's the author of the AI Driven Leader.

We've had him on the podcast. Go read his book. He's amazing. This is his formula. So CRIT, C-R-I-T, context, role, interview, task. Step one, set up the context. So I want you to open up ChatGPT and paste this in. And remember, you need to edit this for you and your business, but essentially you give it context. For example, I'm an entrepreneur looking to optimize my Instagram bio to attract more of my ideal clients and make it crystal clear what I do

who I serve and how people can work with me. I'm feeling totally brain dead and need support pulling out the key messaging and keywords in my niche so that my profile does the heavy lifting for me. So that is contacts. Obviously I just made that up. You have to give it your own contacts. Step two, assign the role. Please act as a brand strategist and Instagram bio expert who helps small business owners write clear, concise and compelling bios

that connect with dream clients and drive action. So you're assigning the AI a very specific role. Now I wanna pause here for a minute. One assumption that I make when I'm giving you a prompt to use with your AI is that your AI already knows you, okay? So make sure before you even try this prompt, it knows who you are, your brand, your ideal client avatar, all the target market research you've done.

your products, your services, your price points, the more information you give to the AI, the better the output, okay? All right, so we've given it the context, we've assigned the role. Step three, the interview. Now this is the part that makes this prompt so powerful. You are gonna say to the AI, and by the way, say, I don't type, I talk into the AI. is I essentially think of it like a voice note back and forth with the AI and that helps me to work so much faster. So here's what I say. I want you to ask me one question at a time, up to five questions to get all the clarity you need on my brand and business before writing the optimized bio. So you're still gonna have to tweak it, but this will give you a really great start at repositioning your bio to ensure that it attracts your ideal clients.
